The Prey Model line is intended for working or very active dogs, or dogs who need to gain weight, with higher protein (57% average)  and fat (38% average) than Steve’s Real Foods BARF model raw The foods all have a lower percentage of fat than protein, which is desirable in a freeze dried food. The Prey Model Raw line has 3 raw meat-based formulas (including bone and organ meats) supplemented with foods like goat milk and coconut oil for extra nutrition. 

The company provides the names and descriptions of all of its suppliers on the website, and there’s a strong focus on sustainable sourcing. Beef is grass fed and grass finished, and poultry is free range.
