With a score of 8.6, Identity Gently Cooked is a low risk dog food by our criteria. There are 6 recipes. They average 63% protein and 7% carbs on a dry matter basis. These are exceptionally good levels to see in cooked dog food. The line is low in fat which is good to see. 

There is another exceptional note to point out. These recipes have no added vitamins, minerals or amino acids which is good to see in any dog food. This suggests there are good quality ingredients that provide the necessary nutrients. 

Identity pet foods are grain-free. They are also gluten-free, legume-free, and potato-free. But, 2 recipes promoted for bland diets have rice and higher carbohydrates. There are 2 concerns with this. This does not cost points but these recipes contain coconut oil. This is a concern as it may be harmful to gut health and cause undesirable changes in the gut lining.
