What was recalled: Raw Frozen Dog Food Turkey Canine Recipe

Steve’s Real Food is voluntarily recalling its Raw Frozen Dog Food Turkey Canine Recipe due to possible contamination with Salmonella. The affected product was sold frozen in 5lb. bags of turkey nuggets.

The affected lot was distributed to pet stores in CA, CO, CT, IA, KS, FL, MD, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, NJ, NV, NY, OR, PA, TX, UT, VA, and WA. The Lot No. is E 178, with UPC 6-91730-15303-8 and a Best By date of 09/27/18 on the bag.

Symptoms of Salmonella in dogs include lethargy, diarrhea, fever, vomiting, decreased appetite, fever, and abdominal pain. If your dog has eaten the recalled product and is showing any of these symptoms, please visit your veterinarian.
