Cause: Possible Salmonella contamination

What was recalled: Two lots of frozen 2lbs. Chicken Blend dog and cat food

Smallbatch Pets Inc. is voluntarily recalling frozen 2lbs. Chicken Blend for dogs and cats due to possible contamination with Salmonella.

The potentially affected lots of pet food were sold frozen in 2lbs. bags in pet food stores in California, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington. The possible contamination is in lot D032 (Best By date of 2/1/2018) and lot E058 (Best By date of 2/27/2018).

No pet illness due to this product has been reported, but consumers who purchased the above lots of Chicken Blend are advised to stop feeding it to their pets and return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
