What was recalled: 5lb. and 1lb. chubs of Raws for Paws Ground Turkey Pet Food

Raws for Paws is recalling Ground Turkey Pet Food packaged into 1-pound and 5-pound sealed plastic tubes due to possible Salmonella contamination. The affected dog food was sold throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa through online mail orders.

The recalled lots of Ground Turkey Pet Food have case codes of 9900008, 9900009, and 9900015 with a manufacture date of 10/12/2017 or between 10/12/2017 and 2/2/2018.

Symptoms of Salmonella poisoning in dogs include lethargy, diarrhea, fever, vomiting, decreased appetite, and abdominal pain. If your dog ate any of the recalled Ground Turkey Pet Food and is showing symptoms, please see visit your veterinarian.
