What was recalled: Pig ears sold in bulk

Pet Supplies Plus is voluntarily recalling bulk pig ear product supplied to all locations and vendors due to possible contamination with Salmonella. The affected product was sold in bulk in open bins in AL, AR, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA, WI and WV. Packaged or branded pig ears are not included in this recall.

Dogs with Salmonella poisoning may exhibit lethargy, diarrhea, fever, vomiting, decreased appetite, fever, and abdominal pain. If your pet consumed the recalled product, please visit your veterinarian.
