Livia Global, Inc. is voluntarily recalling two lots of its liquid probiotics for pets due to potential contamination with Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a microorganism that can cause life-threatening infection in immunocompromised individuals if ingested. This pathogen normally is found in hospitals.

This recall was initiated when routine 3rd party quality assurance testing detected the issue. Affected products include BioLifePet Probiotics for Dogs (UPC 030915 107037), with ship dates of 05/05/2021 to 08/25/2021. If you bought the affected product, you are urged to dispose of it and contact the company for a full refund.
