Cause: Elevated levels of Vitamin D posing risk of Vitamin D toxicity

What was recalled: Elm Chicken and Chickpea Recipe dog food

ELM Pet Foods, Inc is voluntarily recalling Elm Chicken and Chickpea Recipe dog food due to potentially elevated levels of Vitamin D. The recalled products were manufactured between February 25, 2018 and October 31, 2018 and have various UPC codes and Best By dates.

The affected lots of dog food are the 3lb (Best By dates of 2/26/2019, 4/30/2019, 9/5/2019 and 28lb (Best By dates of 4/6/2019, 7/2/2019) bags of Elm Chicken and Chickpea Recipe) and 40lb bags of Elm K9 Naturals Chicken Recipe (Best By dates of 9/14/2019, 9/22/2019, 10/11/2019). All bags in the recall are yellow.

If your dog consumed these products and is showing loss of appetite, increased thirst, increased urination, excessive drooling, or weight loss, discontinue use and see a veterinarian.
