What was recalled: Vital Essentials Freeze-dried beef nibblets for dogs
Carnivore Meat Company is voluntarily recalling 73 cases of Vital Essentials Freeze-Dried Beef Nibblets Entrée for Dogs due to potential Salmonella contamination. The affected product was distributed throughout the continental US via stores and online retailers Chewys.com and Amazon.com.
The recalled products have the Lot #13753 and come in a 1lb. bag. Dogs with Salmonella poisoning may exhibit lethargy, diarrhea, fever, vomiting, decreased appetite, fever, and abdominal pain. If you purchased the product in question, you are urged to discontinue feeding and return to the place of purchase for a refund.
