Cause: Contamination with Salmonella

Announcement: FDA recall notice dated March 19, 2020

What was recalled: Performance Dog frozen raw pet food

Bravo Packing, Inc. is voluntarily recalling all products sold under the Performance Dog brand of frozen raw pet food due to potential contamination with Salmonella.

The affected product comes in frozen 2lb. and 5lb plastic sleeves under the manufacture date code 071418. The recalled product was distributed to Tefco, in Brooklyn, New York. If you cannot locate a manufacture code and bought this product since July 14, 2018, you are urged to exercise caution by disposing of it.

No human or dog illnesses have been reported to date. Dogs with Salmonella poisoning may exhibit lethargy, diarrhea, fever, vomiting, decreased appetite, fever, and abdominal pain. If your pet consumed the recalled product, please visit your veterinarian. If you purchased the affected lot, please return it for a full refund.
