Dog Food Recall: Bravo Packing, Inc. Recalls All Performance Dog and Ground Beef Raw Pet Foods Due to Possible Salmonella and Listeria Health Risk

Cause: Potential contamination with Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes

What was recalled: Ground Beef and Performance Dog frozen raw pet food

Bravo Packing, Inc. is voluntarily recalling all Ground Beef and Performance Dog, a frozen raw pet food because it may be contaminated with Salmonella and Listeria monoctyogenes. The recall was initiated after a routine FDA inspection revealed the presence of these pathogens in samples of this pet food.

The affected products are sold frozen in 2lb. and 5lb. plastic sleeve. No pet illness has been reported to date, but any consumers of this pet food are urged to throw it away.

Dogs with Salmonella/L.mono poisoning may exhibit lethargy, diarrhea, fever, vomiting, decreased appetite, fever, and abdominal pain. If your pet consumed the recalled product, please visit your veterinarian. If you purchased the affected lot, please return it for a full refund.
